Tomas Reyes, Owner

I started CleanRun in 2013 after ten years in building maintenance in Queens, where I learned that a clogged return duct in a rent-controlled building and a debris-choked plenum in a Denver ranch house have the same root cause: nobody looked inside with a camera before quoting the job. I hold the EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling and train every tech personally on negative-pressure extraction (a contained vacuum system that pulls debris without releasing it into your living space). I still ride along on jobs in Congress Park and Hilltop when the schedule allows, usually because someone described a noise in their HVAC that sounds like a 1987 Buick. My wife says I talk about static pressure at dinner. She’s not wrong.

Marcus J., Lead Technician

Marcus has been with us since 2017 and runs the technical side of every major job from LoDo to Stapleton. He’s certified in Abatement Technologies HEPA containment and specializes in older Denver homes with galvanized ductwork (the ridged metal pipes common in pre-1980 construction that collect debris at every seam). Jordan started with us in 2024 after completing the HVAC program at Emily Griffith Technical College and is working through his NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) certification hours under Marcus’s supervision. He’s already handled full residential cleanings in Montclair, Park Hill, and the Highlands, and he’s developing a specialty in dryer vent routing through finished basements (the concealed runs that require a borescope camera to inspect without cutting drywall). His first solo find was a bird nest packed with lint at a second-floor termination in a Congress Park duplex, which he documented with twelve photos and a written note that read, “Recommend vent cap with bird guard.” He plays bass in a local punk band and has politely declined to tell us the name.
